Start a new Christmas tradition with a visit to the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm. This family-run reindeer farm, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, is located just one mile from the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth.
This is one of the few places in the world that provides you with the opportunity to go INSIDE a reindeer enclosure, surrounded by the herd. This visit includes a 15-20 minute educational presentation, 15-20 minutes in the reindeer enclosure for feeding, photos, and interaction with the herd – height restrictions apply. After the reindeer experience, explore the rest of the farm including the largest reindeer themed gift shop in the world and the Blitzen Brew concession stand. This is truly an experience for your bucket list!
After your unforgettable reindeer encounter, hop back on the bus to explore the quaint Bavarian town of Leavenworth when it becomes a Village of Lights – over half a million of them! Enjoy the carolers strolling through the town, the smell of roasted chestnuts filling the air, sipping traditional hot spiced wine and cider, sledding in the park and much more. Lunch will be on your own.
(NOTE: If you have mobility issues, you will not access the main pen, but can view from Cupid’s Corner and meet a reindeer in person.)
