You will be surrounded by breath-taking beauty, magnificent wildlife and the delicious flavors of the Pacific Northwest.

  • Day 1 (06/13/22)
    • 9:30 am -Board your private motor yacht in Bellingham, WA
    • 10:00 am – It’s time to cast off! After clearing Bellingham, we’ll work our way south to explore the southern end of the San Juan archipelago. The route is chosen by current wildlife reports and weather so be on the lookout for marine mammals and birds! As we cruise, the captain gives a interesting and entertaining narration about the history of the islands. Potential landmarks we’ll pass includes the historic Burrows Island lighthouse, a well as points of interest with names like Iceberg Point, Deadman’s Island, and Cattle Pass. A hearty homemade lunch will be served as we go.
    • 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Arrival in Friday Harbor. You and your luggage will be transferred to the Friday Harbor Suites. Just six blocks away from the harbor and only two blocks from the heart of downtown, you’re not far away from anything. Relax and unwind in your Friday Harbor Suites studios with soothing decor, natural colors and comfortable furnishings. This delightful harbor town is filled with good restaurants, quaint shops and galleries, pubs and home to the only museum devoted to Orca whales.
    • 6:00 pm – Gather as a group for dinner at Downriggers and get to know your fellow yachties. (Dinner included in the tour price.) After dinner, enjoy the rest of the evening on your own. Overnight in Friday Harbor.
  • Day 2 (06/14/22)
    • 7:30 am – There is a full and adventure packed day ahead of us. After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a morning stroll down to the dock for boarding.
    • 8:30 am – Sit back and enjoy the scenic cruise through the narrow passages and small islands on our way east to the mouth of the Swinomish Channel. This narrow channel leads us to the picturesque waterfront town of La Conner. Arriving in the late morning, enjoy 2 hours to exploring this unique historic town. Enjoy the new boardwalk that runs nearly the length of the town and spend your time browsing unique shops, artist studios, galleries and bookstores. A very popular Northwest destination, you’ll enjoy your time in this vibrant artist enclave.
    • 1:00 pm – Welcome back aboard! We’ll now get underway heading south as we make our way through Hole in the Wall, a natural opening through the rock cliffs leading us to the rest of the Swinomish channel and through Deception Pass, well-known for it’s swift tidal flow and stunning scenery. As we head for Deception Pass get ready for San Juan Cruises’ Old Fashioned Cracked Crab lunch. Feast on the Northwest’s finest Dungeness Crab served with Tuscan Herb Baked Chicken, signature Broccoli Salad, Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, locally baked French Bread and dessert. While enjoying lunch we’ll search for Orca, Humpback, and Minke whales as well as bald eagles, harbor seals, harbor porpoise, sea birds and other magnificent wildlife. Viewed in their natural environment, these magnificent animals are always a treat to behold.
    • 5:00 to 5:15 pm – Arrival in Friday Harbor. Dinner on your own. Enjoy your evening in Friday Harbor.
  • Day 3 (06/15/22)
    • 7:30 am – Place your luggage outside your hotel room door to be transported and loaded onboard. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel or perhaps strike out on your own for a breakfast in one of the local restaurants.
    • 8:30 am – We’ll meet in the hotel lobby and board a motorcoach for a guided San Juan Island tour. With the guide’s comprehensive knowledge of the island, you’ll explore several of the extraordinary spots on the island such as: Lime Kiln State Park / Whale Watch Park, theAlpaca Ranch, English Camp – San Juan Island National Historic Park, Roche Harbor Resort and Westcott Bay Sculpture Park. This 2 1/2 hour tour includes opportunities for you to stretch your legs before returning to Friday Harbor.
    • 12:00 pm – Lunch on your own in Friday Harbor. With more than a dozen restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, ambiance and prices, you will easily find something satisfying for lunch. Our crew is more than happy to make recommendations for you.
    • 1:30 pm – After an enjoyable time in Friday harbor, you’ll board the private yacht once again to continue the final leg of the voyage. The return route runs through channels and past islands not yet explored. As always, we’ll be on the lookout for the wide variety of wildlife that inhabits the San Juan Island archipelago.
    • 4:00 pm – Approximate arrival back in Bellingham.

(This tour departs and returns to Bellingham, WA. Parking available at Bellingham Four Points by Sheraton for $5 per day – $15 total – with shuttle transportation from hotel to departure location at 09: 00am on 06/13/22 and return shuttle to hotel on 06/15/22.)

REFUND POLICY: Fully refundable minus a $300 per person non-refundable deposit, until 30 days prior to departure of the tour. Starting Friday, May 13, this tour is no longer eligible for a refund. If Bellair Tours is able to sell your tickets (i.e. waitlist) you will be eligible for a refund or account credit. You are also welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else in the 30 days prior to departure.
